The Bachelor of Software Development is a 4 year programme, the first 2.5 years of which are an AP Degree Computer Science

The 2.5-year AP degree in Computer Science equips you with a general all-round knowledge in the field of information technology. The programme is centred on a practical approach - learning by doing. The programme emphasises both the technical components as well as the communication aspect, since the graduate is expected to work in a team at their future work-place, functioning well as a team-player as well as at in the field of information technology.

The Bachelor Degree programme in Software Development is a top-up programme for the AP Degree programme. The programme will ensure you have a profound understanding and knowledge within the technical and theoretical aspects of software development. You will learn to use different database types and think in terms of developing existing systems.

Year 1: Software Construction ;Software Design; IT in Business Organisations; Operating Systems; Computer Architecture

Year 2: Software Architecture; Distributed Programming; Computer networks; Distributed Systems; System Development Methodologies; Specialisation, from: Embedded Programming (Programming of Robots) , Agile Development, Databases, Web Development, Mobile Development, System Administration

Year 2.5 [5th Semester]: Internship and Project

Year 3 [6th Semester] & Year 4: Databases for Developers; Design by Contract; Testing; System Integration ; Developing Large-Scale Systems; Electives, including : Project Management ,Security, Theory of Science; Bachelor"s Project

The university currently offers no related Masters programmes, taught through English.

General Certificate of Education (with examination in 8 subjects where at least 3 are A-levels, alternatively 2 A-levels + 2 AS-levels. Subjects to include Maths
